Ascension and Pentecost, when paddling fever reaches its climax, many paddlers from all over Europe converge to meet in Val Sesia. After a dry spring, the unending rains of Ascension restored all the water levels to great, when not too high, levels. The lower Sermenza, Sermenzina and Scopello on the Sesia being left for the pros.

A much sunnier Pentecost then offered us two jewels of the Val Sesia. The Sorba with its amazing triple drop entry, and the Egua whose succession of drops and rapids is a real pleasure.

L’Ascension et Pentecôte, quand la fièvre du kayak est à son comble, le Val Sesia attire des kayakistes de toute l’Europe. Après un printemps trop sec, les pluies peu ininterompues de l’Ascension ont remis les rivières en eau; parfois même presque un peu trop. La basse Sermenza, la Sermenzina et Scopello sur la Sesia restant réservés aux pros.

La Pentecôte plus ensoleillée elle, nous a offert 2 bijoux du Val Sesia. La Sorba avec sa surprenante entrée de 3 seuils, et l’Egua dont la succession de seuils et de rapides reste un vrai plaisir.
